Christmas Breakfast
Renu and Nick cooked the late morning breakfast at Wray Crescent. We ate Nick’s home-baked granola with blue berries and yoghurt, smoked salmon and poached eggs, pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup and drank ‘Gun Powder Tea’ from China. Bailey rolled on the floor and Lotti posed in a ‘saree.’
A Walk In The Park
It was a crisp sunny morning and we went out to walk in Finchley Park. There was hardly anybody about. A lone couple played table tennis in the play area and Alma and Lotti scaled the climbing frames. Bailey was delighted and excited to meet other puppies and kept on running in circles and rolled in the grass.
Christmas Dinner
Dilu cooked Christmas dinner. Isabel and Noel flew in from Germany to spend the Christmas holiday with the family. The evening kicked off with a glass of Vilmart 2006 and we drank Manzanilla Solear and Chamonix Reserve White with crab laced with fresh chilli. There were roast potatoes, carrots in butter, sprouts and onions and sausages in Cumberland sauce with the roast turkey accompanied by Marimar Torres Pinot Noir. A tangerine sorbet refreshed palates before the Christmas pudding, followed by blue cheeses and Tawny Port.
